I used a painting by William Adolphe Bougeureau as reference for the dress.

I think you did well on this. It holds my attention very well; I almost expect movement.

Humans do not get any more intelligent as time goes on. They always seem to find a new way to be completely idiotic.

I complain on my art because it makes me want to be better and in the end improve myself.

If you want to make your class be quiet for a moment, sing opera! It worked for me once! xD

Holy crap, this is amazing - I think you handled the lighting extremely well. And I don't see much to complain about in regards to the feet, either.

Wow, this is just stunning!

I just LOVE what you did with the lighting. It works fantastically. Just a hint: this super cool realistic feel would be improved, I think, if you added a few flowers/weeds that stick out from the surrounding vegetation and are highlighted just like the girl's hair. I think it would frame everything nicely and let the light really flow in. But yeah, it is lovely even now :)
:iconmaglil:
Thanks for that suggestion! I think I was planning on doing a little bit more with ground/weeds but it slipped my mind. I'm definitely going to go back and work on it now.
